Does_VIMP_support_TIFF_files?

Since version 4.2.7 VIMP also supports TIFF image files.

Prerequisite is that the Imagick extension is installed on the server.

For Debian and Ubuntu you can install Imagick as follows:

sudo apt-get install php-imagick

Then add the format extensions "tif" and "tiff" to the entry "List of allowed photo extensions" in the configuration under Media -> Media settings.
