Since VIMP 5.0 you can determine the media recommendations next to the player or after playing a video in the player via a personalization algorithm.
Activate this under:
Configuration -> Media -> Media Settings -> Enable personalized media recommendation: On
The media recommendations are now calculated on the basis of the media of the respective user that have been viewed and provided with their own Like.
The prerequisite is that the user has already viewed at least 10 media. If this is not the case, the system switches back to the default recommendation algorithm.
