Media requests within VIMP are managed by an advanced permission system. It secures that media with costs can only be accessed fully after the user has made a payment.
Direct calls from outside (e.g. be calling the media file link directly) are prevented on the server-side by directory protection.
According rules within the .htaccess file protect the media folders. Therefore, please ensure to use the .htaccess file included in the video on demand module package.
